Blogging Through Transistions

How is it that I seem to Blog most when life is in chaos? It’s starting to feel like a pattern!

After an accidental two years away I’m back at it with the blog to share ideas and stories from the trenches of motherhood. Baby Ladybug is now Toddler Ladybug and Beansprout is on the cusp between toddler and child.

It’s strange how time goes so fast and so slowly all at once.

We’ve had some big changes in the last two years – baby Ladybug’s introduction planetside, Beansprout started school, Hubby finished his apprenticeship, we got a dog – and now we’re on to another big change. We’re moving!

Same ol’ area, but a brand new space, somewhere with a bit more room to stretch our legs and to sink in our roots.

When I started this blog it was primarily a response to rising food costs and a desire to share our experiences with trying to grow food and get crafty to help combat those expenses. Well! That goal just keeps getting more relevant I’m afraid.

So with a new house on the horizon (and a new yard to get dirty in) I hope y’all are excited to start hearing more about building garden beds from recycled material, planting natives, minimizing mowing, and a good chunk of DIY home repair as we leap back into this new season of our lives.

With Love,

Lucy Jane
